Drug peddler arrested & 03 grams of heroin(Chitta) recovered, One Drug Peddler by Miran Sahib Police Station, Jammu.

In the ongoing crackdown on drug trafficking under operation *Sanjeevani*, the Miran Sahib Police achieved success by apprehending a drug peddler and recovering 3 grams of heroin-like substance (chitta) from his possession.
During routine patrolling near Bagh-e-Bhour Park, Indira Nagar, the alert police team noticed a suspicious pedestrian attempting to evade checking. The police acted swiftly and detained the individual, who was later identified as *Mohd. Shafi, R/o Indira Nagar, Miran Sahib.Upon conducting a personal search, 3 grams of heroin-like substance were recovered from his possession.
Following this, an FIR under relevant sections of the NDPS Act (FIR No. 118/2024) was registered, and further investigation is underway to uncover possible links to larger drug networks.
