01 ABSCONDER WANTED IN A CASE FIR NO. 114/2020 U/S 8/21/22/29/NDPS ACT ARRESTED BY POLICE TEAM OF POLICE STATION HIRANAGAR

Kathua; 06 November:- J&K Police Kathua has successfully arrested an absconder named Wazir Chand S/o Nand Lal R/o Sankoza Bhaderwah District Doda who was declared absconder U/S 512 CrPC in a case FIR No. 114/2020 U/S 8/21/22/29/NDPS Act at PS Hiranagar. The defendant was absconding since the registration of FIR and was evading arrest.
A warrant under the relevant sections had been issued against the accused by the Honorable Court of law. The authorities had been searching for the defendant since the issuance of the warrant. Kathua Police received information about the accused's whereabouts and immediately dispatched a team to apprehend him.On 06/11/2024 the police team led by SHO PS Hiranagar located and arrested Wazir Chand S/o Nand Lal R/o Sankoza Bhaderwah District Doda and produced him in the Honble court of Addl. Session Judge Kathua from where he has been sent to District Jail Kathua while further investigation is underway.
