Rtn. Dr. P.S. Grover, District Governor 3070, Visits RC Club Jammu Elite
Rtn. Dr. P.S. Grover, District Governor 3070, recently visited the Rotary Club Jammu Elite at the Amar Singh Club. He was accompanied by Rtn. Balvinder Kour, the First Lady of the Rotary Club, and Rtn. Atamjit Singh, Aide to the DG. During his visit, he engaged in a fruitful discussion with Dr. Davinder Kour, President of RCJ Elite, along with Secretary Suresh Bala and other club members.
President Dr. Davinder Kour apprised the DG of the numerous projects and events that took place in July and August. She also shared insights about the club’s future plans, upcoming projects, and the goals set for the club. Notably, she informed him about the addition of eight new members who joined in the past month.
In his Presidential address, the DG expressed his appreciation for the initiatives spearheaded by the club’s President. He also highlighted the various responsibilities shouldered by the President, Secretary, and other club members in their respective roles.
The event began with a warm welcome from Rtn. PP Gurvinder Kour, Charter President of the Club. The Master of Ceremonies was Rtn. Dr. Revika Arora, Vice President of the Club. Rtn. Paramjeet Kour, Treasurer, eloquently read the profile of the District Governor. Rtn. P.S. Grover distributed awards, recognizing outstanding contributions, including an award to PP Rtn. Jyoti Vaid and an excellent Secretary award to Dr. Davinder Kour, and the Best Rotarian award 2023-24 to Rtn PP Gurvinder Kour.
New members were ceremoniously welcomed with Rotary pins. Other esteemed members present included Harvinder Kour, Jagmeet Kour, Jasneet Kour, Anita Jamwal, Anju Khajuria, and Waryam Singh. The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks was proposed by Rtn. PP Gurvinder Kour followed by friendship and fellowship and tea
