In a major crackdown against gangstes, team of Police Station Majalta arrested a wanted criminal *Amir KhanS/O Ghulam Rasool R/O Khoon, Tehsil Majalta District Udhampur*.
During a well-coordinated operation, based on reliable intelligence regarding the movement of the accused in the jurisdiction of district Udhampur, Police team of PS Majalta launched a swift operation. The accused attempted to evade but was overpowered and taken into custody.
Amir Khan is involved in numerous serious criminal activities, including *criminal assualt, Rape, Robbery, NDPS, Arms Act, Attempt to Murder, illegal possession of weapons.* He was wanted in at least 5-6 different FIRs registered across various police stations of JK and Punjab.
*Moreover, Amir Khan is also a member of a gangster group, which operates in areas such as Manhor Gopala, Check Deyala, Check Manga Gujjrain, Mandhara, Rakh Brotia, and Vijaypur*.
His apprehension has given a blow to the wanted criminals operating in the area and has sent a sign of relief among the adjoining population, reinforcing their belief towards the protection of life and property by J&K police.
