Continuing its drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse under Operation *SANJEEVANI* Jammu Police achieved major
success by recovering 408 grams of heroin(Chitta) worth lacs from a drug peddler namely *Yaqoob Ali s/o Meen Mohd ,r/o Babu Bari Hoshiarpur Punjab* at BC road under the jd of bus stand police station.
2. A Police team of Police Station Bus stand arrested the drug Peddler.
3. ⁠In this regard a case *FIR No. 64/2024 U/S 8/21/22/ of NDPS Act stands registered at P/S Bus stand* and investigation started.
4. ⁠Further investigation of the case is going on including forward and backward linkages in the case
5. ⁠Jammu Police is working intensively to uproot the chains of drug supply in the region and thorough questioning of the accused is going on to know the origin of the drugs
supply chain.



Jammu Police is striving hard and taking every possible step to make
people especially youth aware to eradicate drug menace.
