ADDITIONAL DIRECTOR GENERAL (WESTERN COMMAND) VISITED BORDER AREA OF JAMMU FRONTIER

On November 11, 2024, ADG (Western command )Satish S Khandare, IPS, arrived at the BSF Jammu Frontier on a three-day visit. He was received by IG DK Boora and senior officers of the Jammu Frontier. He called on Shri Manoj Sinha, the Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor of Union territory Jammu and Kashmir.

IG BSF gave a detailed presentation to the ADG BSF, covering all the critical aspects of border security and domination along the IB of Jammu.

ADG BSF visited the Kathua & Samba border area, where he was briefed by the Sector Commander and Battalion Commandants about the operational aspects.
On 13 November 2024, ADG BSF visited LC . He interacted with the troops & praised them for performing their duties with dedication and professionalism.
ADG also flagged off Bharat Darshan Tour for 34 school children selected from bordering villages of Poonch & Rajouri, UT J& K.
