𝐏𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐎𝐁𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐓 𝐏𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐒 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐈
National Police Day popularly known as Police Commemoration Day has been observed today at Martyrs Memorial District Police Lines Reasi wherein the bravery of Martyrs has been remembered for their sacrifices.
Rich tribute were paid to all the Martyrs of Police and Paramilitary force who made Supreme sacrifice in the line of duty for the unity and integrity of the nation.
Contingents of Police and Paramilitary forces participated in the Commemoration Day Parade at DPL Reasi in which, Sh. Vishesh Paul Mahajan Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Sh. Gaurav Sikarwar- IPS ,SSP Reasi, Ms. Anita Sharma CO IRP 1st Bn, Sh. Iftkhar Ahmed-JKAS Addl. SP Reasi, Sh. Rajinder Singh Vice Principal STC Talwara, Sh. Neeraj Padyar Dy.SP Hqrs Reasi, Sh. Rohit Chadgal Dy.SP DAR DPL Reasi and Officers from paramilitary forces paid rich tributes to the Martyrs. Besides Officers and officials of District Police Reasi, Families of Martyrs, number of prominent persons of Reasi, social activists remained present & offered wreaths to the Martyrs Memorial while paying tributes to the Martyrs.
Sh. Gaurav Sikarwar-IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police Reasi read the ‘Roll of Honour’ names of the Martyrs of Police and Paramilitary forces of the country.
Proud Family members of Police Martyrs of District Reasi participated in the function to remember the sacrifice of their family members for the integrity of the Nation. They were seen in pride & tears for the Martyrs while laying wreaths over heap of flowers offered before ’Roll of Honour’ in the martyrs memorial.
After the formal Commemoration day Parade a token of love and affection in the form of gifts were handed over to the family members of Martyrs by the Officers.
Later on SSP Reasi alongwith team of officers interacted with each family of the Martyrs, listened to their grievances and issues, on spot directions were passed to redress the issues and also familiarized them about the schemes, which have been launched by the Government of India for the welfare of NoK’s of Martyrs.
Sh. Gaurav Sikarwar- IPS assured that J&K Police is at the back of the NoK's of the Martyrs, Reasi Police will leave no stone unturned to stand with them in each thick & thin of life.
