Journalists in every state as
well in the country are free to move anywhere, as per their choice, attacking them is not good in democracy setup.
This was stated by the minister for Animal, Sheep Husbandry and fisheries, Abdul Gani Kohli during his exclusive interaction with the young Bites.
Here are the excerpts.

VG: Illegal settlement of Rohingyas is a burning issue in Jammu, what you say?
AG: Though, the settlement of Rohingyas is illegal, but first this is a human issue, and then security issue. The security of our state as well as the country is Prime and no compromise can be done in this regard. For the settlement of outsiders in every country or state, there is a set framed policy by the government; we have to read out that policy first. Meanwhile, in this case, when they have settled in our state, there is a need to frame some new policy and the government is trying their best to solve this case as this is directly related with the security of our state and our people and their lives could not be put on stake at any cost.
VG: Recently some Rohingyas attacked on working journalists, who was on job in their area, what you say?
AG: The attack on journalists is highly condemnable, none can attack them, they are free and can be go anywhere as per their choice or their nature of duty. Journalists in every state as well in the country are free to move anywhere, as per their choice, attacking them is not good in democracy setup.
VG: Government has framed a policy for the rehabilitation of tribal’s as per their choice, if you support this policy?
AG: Government is trying its best to rehabilitate the people belong to tribals. In my own constituency there are 70 percent gujjars and bakerwals. But this is not true that that government has authorized them to settle anywhere as per their choice and police or any government agency, shall not harm or harass them.
There must be some communication error, which has needed to be rectified first rather before finalizing such a policy for their rehabilitation.
VG: Weeks after, the Kathua rape case is still in limelight, why?
AG: I wanted to assure the people that there shall be fair justice and the accused should be get strict punishment as per the law, because the case is now in court and we can’t do anything.
But this is also true that the police as done a remarkable job to find out the culprits and send them behind the bars. People must have full faith in the police and judicial system, there should be justice with the victim. I wanted to make an appeal to the people to remain calm, and wait for the judgment.
This was the not all that the senior cabinet minister has to say about himself and his department, more shall be discussed with the same minister in our next part of our face to face with AG Kohli, till then good bye.
