Unprecedented sacrifice of Mirpuris remembered

YB News Jammu,Nov 20 It is an historical fact that more than 18000 Mirpuris who were the citizens of Mirpur city which was the erstwhile District , Headquarters of Jammu and Kashmir State now in PoK Sacrificed their lives unprecedentedly while fighting with Pakistani raiders on 25th,'26th and 27 th November 1947 (10,11 and 12 Maghar 2004) In order to pay rich tribute to the said martyrs of Mirpur, the management of Arya Samaj Bakshinagar Jammu in collaboration with C.P.Gupta former President of Mirpur Balidan Divas Celebration Committee, have decided to perform Vedic Havan in Arya Samaj Bakshinagar Jammu on Friday the 25th November,2022 from 10.30.A.M to 12.15 P.M. The said two organization's have appealed to all the Mirpuris residing in Jammu City and it's peripheral colonies to participate in large number with their family members as usual as a mark of respect to the said martyrs of Mirpur.This will be in addition to the programme of prabhat pheries being taken from different Sectors of Jammu City which will culminate at Mirpur Shaheedi Samark at Maheshpura Chowk Bakshinagar Jammu at 8 A.M. to pay floral tributes jointly to the said martyrs.
