Harare, Oct 28 Zimbabwe caused a massive upset in the T20 World Cup by defeating Pakistan on Thursday, 27 October. Zimbabwe defeat the Babar Azam side at the Optus Stadium in a final ball thriller, where the team held their nerves to clinch victory in the final ball of the over. After Zimbabwe's stunning defensive act, the country's President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa congratulated the team and tweeted out that next time Pakistan should send the real Mr. Bean. As the incident goes, Zimbabwe people were duped by a comedy show in Harare back in 2016, where they expected to see Mr. Bean aka, Rowan Atkinson, the person behind the portrayal of the famed character. However, citizens felt duped out of their 10 dollars when Pakistani comedian Asif Mohammad walked out and performed. According to many, the show turned out to be a massive flop and angered the public present in the Harare International Conference Centre. As Pakistan cricketers were slammed across social media for their sub-par performance, the President's tweet did rounds across the world. This prompted former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag to react to the same. The batter wrote that the Zimbabwe president was going to touch a major nerve with his reaction. Coming back to the T20 World Cup, Pakistan's loss has put them in a precarious position in the tournament after their back to back losses. Pakistan have their back against the wall and have to defy odds if they wish to enter the semi-finals of the competition. Babar Azam's men might have to depend on other teams as well to make it to the next stage of the tournament.
