BY:- OMKAR DATTATRAY There is appreciation for Modi at home and abroad due to his standing and tackling of the world and multilateral problems.Modi’s style of functioning and his attribute of not compromising on the interests and self interest of India has perhaps no parallels in the whole world.Even his rivals and detractors are appreciating his method of doing governance with transparency and fairness. Thus has the Modi become darling of the people in India and in the whole world for his straightforwardness and political and diplomatic acumen. Modi is admired by the heads of governments of the super powers and thus his status and the prestige of India has increased manifold due to the hard work and his quality and capacity of engaging with the world leaders and world governments.There is Modi-Modi everywhere on the lips of the world leaders and the common citizenry of the countries abroad.For the first time in the history ,Pakistan Prime minister Imran Khan Indian Prime ministerModi.Imran appreciated the foreign policy of Modi’ and he became a follower of Modi because of his respect and standing in the world and for his decisions on the home matters and on international issues.Today no one in the home and abroad matches his capability and capacity of understanding and responding to the multilateral problems and issues of the world.A day before Modi-Modi sound was heard in the UNO where Modi was hailed and appreciated for his understanding and coping with the problems of the world.The French President Macron was all praise for Modi because of his plain speaking to Putin on the sidelines of the SCO 22rd meeting in Samarkand of Uzbekistan where Modi said Putin that this is not the time of war and the era of war but of democracy,dialogue and diplomacy where there is no place for a war. Modi straightway suggested Putin to end war with Ukraine through dialogue and talks because there is no substitute for talks in the present day democracy in the world and all the issues and bilateral matters should be resolved through talks.Thus Modi advised Putin to shun war and come to a negotiating table for the resolution of all the problems and issues.So has the French president Macron lavished heaps of praises on Modi for tacking truth to Putin.It is not the first time that Modi has advocated stopping of war with Ukraine but Modi had several time in the past through telephone communicated to Putin to stop was and cope with the world issues confronting Russia.But after two years of coronavirus epidemic in the world Modi has now talked in person to Putin and advised him to end war with Ukraine because was is no solution of any problem. Putin should try to cope with the issues and problems of international importance instead of focusing on war. Modi has also said to Putin that this is not the time of groupism and revenge of the west and the east but it is the time to cooperate with the world to solve the problems confronting the world.In fact even the super powers of the world are praising Modi and his understanding and coping of the international issues. It follows that there is Modi-Modi everywhere at home and abroad and this is a matter of satisfaction for India because it is the approval of Indian approach to the solution of the international and domestic problems.Thus we can say that Modi has got international standing and prestige and for this he has become a darling of the world and his fans are not only in India but abroad as well.Modi has a great capacity of decision making and facing the challenges of the 21st century and because of this he is hailed the world over.His mantra of global cooperation to solve and cope with the issues and problems is unmatchableModi is engaging with the world leaders and with the super powers and projecting his standing and approach to the multilateral problems. The ex Pakistan prime minister Imran Khan has praised Modi for his quality of uncompromising on its national interests.Modi has even checkmated the dragon china and she has retreated back to the old position on the line of control.The French President Macron has appreciated Modi in his address to the UNGA for his courage and conviction of straightway telling Putin to end was.In the prevailing world politics Modi has decided not to attend the general assembly meeting and he is keeping distance from the meeting.One the one hand Modi has told plainly to Putin to end war and on the other hand he is staying away from the meeting of the UNGA because Modi does not want to become a signatory to the proposal of the America of laving further sanctions and thus is he maintaining distance from the meeting of the world body and mak ing it clear that he does not approve of these sanctions against Russia.The Chinese Prime minister XI Jinping and the American president Bidden are also not attending the meeting of the UNGA. India has sent its representative the foreign minister Jaishanker to attend the meeting.
