Apni Party leader Ch Alam Khan along with supporters joins NC

YB News Udhampur,Aug 07 Ch Alam Khan District President ST Cell, Apni Party along with his supporters joined the National Conference under the leadership of Sunil Verma, District President National Conference during a function held today. Ch Alam Khan, in his address, said that unemployment is at peak and people are decrying even for the basic amenities and essentials of life in the prevailing scenario. He said that he had joined the Apni Party with the hope to get the common man’s issues addressed on this front. He said that he was taken aback after joining Apni Party to find that the policies of Apni Party are just a carbon copy of Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) policies. “Not only this the manner and modus operandi adopted by the Apni Party clearly revealed that Apni Party is undoubtedly working as the Team B of Bharatiya Janata Party that has already betrayed the people of Jammu and Kashmir by making false promises never to be fulfilled. Disappointed with the Apni Party I decided to join the National Conference as it has the best secular credentials and track record of serving the people of J&K with utmost sincerity and honesty. Not only this, National Conference is the only Party in J&K which can give tough fight to the Bharatiya Janata Party in J&K, he asserted. Hence I along with my supporters have joined the National Conference as its foot soldiers to serve the people of this Union Territory,” he added. While addressing the gathering, Sunil Verma welcomed Ch Alam Khan and his supporters into the party fold, congratulating them for having taken the right decision to join the most secular party of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that the BJP Govt has miserably failed to provide basic amenities to the people of Jammu and Kashmir who are already strug gling for survival amid terrorism, price hike and inflation and their miseries are multiplying with each passing day. Asserting that only National Conference is capa ble of securing the future of the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory and its people, Sunil said today there is a need to further strengthen party at all levels. He said that the party cadre including the new entrants will have to work relentlessly at the grass roots level to expose the anti-people especially the anti-youth policies of the BJP Govt that have brought only miseries for the common man. Meanwhile, Sunil Verma appealed to the people to strengthen the hands of Dr Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah and vote for National Conference in the J& K Assembly elections in order to ensure the equitable development of Jammu and Kashmir and the best welfare of its people. Prominent among those present on the occasion were Ch Mohd Ghani District President.
