Ramesh Arora incepted Heritage Railway Station

YB News Jammu,May 19 Baldev Raj Additional Divisional Railway Manager (ADRM) with Ramesh Arora former MLC, Ramesh Sabarwal Covenor J&K People Form, Kiran Watal Ex- Commissioner Municipality, Anil Gupta Secretary Chamber of Commerce, Samant Singh Director Corporative Bank, Sumit Raina Corportar, Jaspal Singh Palli SE Retired, Atul Bakshi, Satish Kumar, Ashok Gupta and Shripal were among present today for site inception of Heritage Railway Station at Vikram Chowk. Ramesh Arora also met with LG who assured that Heritage Railway Station at Jammu and R.S. Pura will be protected and development will be done in a manner so that tourist can be attracted and present generation must feel proud that their Heritage. Railway station is heritage of Jammu people and was working in the regime of Maharaj Hari Singh prior to independence. And the train use to covered distance from Vikram Chowk Jammu to Sailkot and other places. Ramesh Arora further said that nation cannot make progress if it forgets its past glory and said that is why the nation is struggling to get back Gainbapi (Kashi Vishwa Nath Temple) encroachment vacated and also get back possession of Krishan Janam Bhumi at Mathura. Hence, Maharaja Hari Singh was a Visionary person and carried out many development projects and railway was one of them. Even Pathankot was not having railway station when train was moving in state of Jammu and Kashmir. ARDM Baldev Raj assured that railway property will be protected by all means and matter will be taken up at appropriate level. It was also decided to work out further course of action with the above said team led by Ramesh Arora former MLC and they will meet again within days.
