DC reviews progress of Road projects, land acquisition

YB News Reasi,May 19 Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Babila Rakwal today chaired a meeting of the collectors Land Acquisition and officers of executing agencies to review the progress of ongoing road projects and the status of the land acquisition for construction of new projects in the district. The DC took a detailed review of the DelhiAmritsarKatra expressway, Roads under GREF viz Reasi ArnasMahore, BMG Road and BharakhSiraRajouri Road , Status of Jammu Akhnoor Highway falling in the Jurisdiction of District Reasi, besides PWD & PMGSY road projects. The Executing departments as well as agencies were stressed to furnish the details of the projects & the bottlenecks, if any, to the office of the Deputy Commissioner with in a week's time The DC stressed upon the Collectors Land Acquisition to disburse the compensation amount in the cases where final awards have been issued. The Executing Agencies were asked to work in coordination with the concerned collector Land acquisition for resolving the issues regarding acquisition of land etc. Babila Rakwal asked for clearing the pendency with regard to the acquisition.
