Army organises “Awareness and Cleanliness Drive”

YB News Ramban,Apr 24 In consonance with initiative of PM's vision of “Swachh Bharath Abhiyan”, Indian Army organised an “Awareness cum Cleanliness Drive” and campaign to support “Clean and Green Environment” at Banihal Railway Station, Ramban (J&K) on the occasion of “World Earth Day”. Event was organised under the theme of “Invest in our Planet”. The aim of the campaign is to impress upon young minds about importance of a clean environment, thereby making them responsible citizens. The campaign witnessed participation by locals who took initiative to inculcate cleanliness and sanitation as a way of life. In the whole event, the aspect of social distancing was kept in mind. Indian Army, civilians including Awaam youth of the area and local NGOs came together and pledged to continue with the drive and motivate others also so as to make it a huge success.
