India women's cricket star Smriti in heated war-of-words with Rajasthan players after controversial run-out

New Delhi, Apr 24 India Women’s batter Smriti Mandhana was controversially run out during Sunday’s match between Maharashtra and Rajasthan in the Senior Women’s T20 League match at the Siechem Stadium. After being asked to chase down 103, Maharashtra made a decent start courtesy of a 46-run partnership between Mandhana and SS Shinde off 8.2 overs. Just when the stand between the duo was blossoming, bowler KP Choudhary, bizarrely, ran Mandhana out at the non-striker’s end. Choudhary took the bails off in her run-up after seeing Mandhana out of the popping crease. The decision was sent upstairs.
