The positive cases are rising day by day. The last day witnessed a huge rise in cases. The Government informed that 5992 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 1920 from Jammu division and 4072 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 378661. 07 Covid deaths have been reported; 05 from Jammu Division and 02 from Kashmir Division. The figures clearly show that we cannot take the virus so lightly. Everyone of us have witnessed that the life is coming to its normal with every passing day. People are going out for shopping, people are going out in restaurants like they used to go before 2020. As it was clearly said by DC Srinagar also that if people won’t follow the protocols and if the cases rise with every passing day then the day is not far when a complete lockdown will be imposed. The restrictions are increasing with every passing day. From Friday onwards the restrictions will start from 2 PM till Monday morning. This clearly shows that government is gradually increasing the restrictions. If the scenario will continue then the day is not far when a complete lockdown will be imposed in J & K. If people won’t follow the restrictions, if people won’t follow the SOPs and if people won’t follow the Covid appropriate behaviour then the number of cases will rise and the situation will be very drastic. So it is high time that people start following all the CABs so that the spread of coronavirus could be restricted.
