Congress worker who accused Karnataka leader of assault now denies attack, blames BJP

Bengaluru, Jan 20 AKarnataka Youth Congress worker who accused party leader and son of MLA NA Haris, Mohammed Nalapad of assault, now denied the incident and accused the BJP of conspiracy. Siddu Gowda, the Ballari district Youth Congress president, along with two of his associates were allegedly attacked on January 19. The incident came to light when Gowda allegedly posted about the incident on Congress' internal WhatsApp group. However, he has now denied the incident. "In the media, we have seen that I have been attacked by Nalapad. It is false. I am not hurt. These pictures are wrong. I am fine. I came to Bengaluru yesterday and it is not true that I was attacked. My family is asking the same. I have been video calling to prove everybody wrong. This is a BJP conspiracy," Gowda said. Siddu Gowda in his message allegedly said that the assault took place.
