NATIONAL OIL CONSERVATION WEEK OBSERVED

YB News Akhnoor,Jan 09 National Oil Conservation Week is celebrated every year from 4th-10th of January all across the country aiming to raise awareness regarding the importance of conservation of the petroleum products. It also aims to encourage people regarding judicious use of petroleum products as well as importance of environmental protection. Indian Army has been on the forefront in raising awareness amongst local populace by various initiatives. Indian Army organised a lecture on ongoing national oil conservation week in govt high school, hamirpur. Indian Army has identified education as a priority Area for activities because students have the potential to shape the future of the nation. The lecture was attended by a total of 60 people including students and teachers. School authorities highly appreciated the efforts of Indian Army for its noble initiative. The students and teachers expressed their gratitude towards Indian Army for its endeavours in the field of the education.
