NCC ANNUAL TRAINING CAMP CULMINATES AT SUNDERBANI

Jammu, Oct 15 NCC Annual training Camp organised by 5 NCC J&K Batallion culminated with cultural programme at NCC Camping Ground, Sunderbani (J&K). This annual training camp are conducted for NCC cadets who are required to undergo the training before becoming eligible for ‘B’ & ‘C’ certificate exam. 281 cadets of all divisions/ wings of NCC participated and successfully completed their training. The camp was organised, managed and supervised by CO, 5 J&K Battalion NCC and his team of Officers, JCOs and Other Ranks. The camp training included motivational talks/ lectures by civilians dignitaries of medical department of Sunderbani and security forces who visited the camp site and motivated the cadets by sharing their own experiences. These camp are unique as they provide opportunity to NCC cadets to learn and shape up their physical, mental and intellectual skills in an organised manner under the supervision of trained Army PI Staff. It also provides a platform for cadets to showcase their individual skill and talent and group activities. This training forms the foundation for cadets to participate at National level camp and RDC parade. Training included basic military training like i.e firing, drill, Map Reading and weapons training. The cadets are also exposed to non military subjects and personality development programme. Great emphasis is laid on physical and mental conditioning of cadets which helps them in knowing their strength. The culmination of the camp was the cultural programme by cadets showcasing their individual and group talent.
