RISING STAR BRIGADE DISTRIBUTES SPORTS ITEMS TO CHILDREN

Jammu, Oct 15 In continuation of Indian Army’s relentless pursuit of outreaching persons in remote areas and to give them a sense of security and winning hearts and minds of Awaam in the area of Salooni in District Chamba (HP). Team consisting of troops of Rising Star Bayonets undertook the yeoman task of distributing essential first aid medical kit and sports items to the children of Govt. School Salooni. The effort aimed at meeting the emergent needs of children belonging to these remote areas at Chamba district. This will in turner kindle the Sports Spirit. Team also conducted career counseling which was aimed for spreading awareness amongst youth of remote areas about opportunities available in Indian Army. All the Students School Staff Including principal and general Public expressed their gratitude and lauded Indian Army for the well-conceived initiative. All the activities were conducted keeping COVID-19 norms in mind.
