MUSHROOM FARMING PICKS UP IN KISHTWAR

Jammu, Oct 15 Taking a new leap towards self-reliance among people of remote parts of Kishtwar district, Mushroom farming picks up in the Chhatru area of Kishtwar district. Towards this, Indian Army had conducted a Mushroom farming awareness camp in collaboration with District Administration at Chhatru in Kishtwar. During the camp, youth were made aware of button mushroom cultivation and marketing of the product. Seeing it as a boon, local youth expressed their gratitude towards Army for the noble initiative and displayed enthusiasm for cultivation of this aromatic crop in the area.
