Rajasthan: Youth befriends minor girl, rapes her; arrested

Jalore, Oct 15 Aminor girl was raped in Rajasthan's Jalore district allegedly by a 20- year-old man who befriended her, police said on Friday. The accused was identified as Mansoor. He befriended the victim and allegedly raped her. Mansoor also shot obscene videos and photos and circulated them on social media, PTI reported. A case under relevant Sections of the Indian Penal Code, the IT Act, and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act was registered against the accused. "The accused befriended the minor girl and allegedly raped her. He also shot obscene videos and photos and circulated them. He has been detained and is being interrogated," Saila Station House Officer (SHO) Jalore Dhruv Prasad was quoted as saying by PTI.
