Employer rapes 19-yr-old woman, pushes her to death from 10th floor

Kanpur, Sep 24 A19-year-old woman was allegedly raped and murdered by her employer in Kanpur. According to police, the accused after allegedly raping the woman pushed her to death from the 10th floor of a building. The accused, who is a dairy operator had initially tried to mislead police but later confessed to his crime, as reported. Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) BBGTS Murthy said, “The 19-year-old woman worked as the accused's secretary. He took her to his flat in Kalyanpur on Tuesday on the pretext of some official work but tried to persuade her to have a physical relationship by offering money. When the woman refused, the accused raped her. She threatened him about reporting it to the police following which the accused pushed her from the 10th floor of the building. The accused was arrested on Wednesday and produced before the magistrate. He has been sent to judicial custody by the court.
