New Delhi, Sep 24 While questions are being raised over India’s vaccination certificates by the UK health authorities, we take a look at the various kinds of vaccination certifications being given by nations globally for facilitation of international travel. Is it any different from what is being issued in India? The UK uses a Covid vaccine pass called the NHS Covid pass, which is not just issued after vaccination, but also after a Covid negative test result. “An NHS Covid pass shows your coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccination details or test results,” said the official website. The pass is available digitally “usually within 24 hours of having your vaccination however, it can take up to five days for your records to be updated,” states the official NHS website. UK also issues a covid pass for those who have had a “positive RTPCR test within the past six months”. The process is multi-layered and complicated. You can get a digital version using the NHS app or NHS website. You can download it as a PDF or get it sent to you in an email. But, to get the digital version from the NHS app, you must be registered with a GP surgery in England.
