MOTIVATIONAL TALK ON HOW TO JOIN ARMED FORCES CONDUCTED

Poonch, Sep 23 Indian Army is one of the most popular volunteer service option for youth of the region. In order to address the growing aspirations of village youth to “Join Indian Army”, Indian Army conducted an orientation lecture on “Join Army and Live a Life Less Ordinary” at Jhullas in District Poonch (J&K). During the lecture, speaker emphasised that employment is a major concern of every youth particularly from border districts and thus the eligible and aspiring youth should prepare and participate in different recruitment rallies being conducted by Recruitment Agencies to join a noble career. The Indian Army promises both professional and personal growth at every stage of the career. Opportunities to upgrade through various courses are abundant. The adventure and extra curricular activities in the Indian Army ensure an all round development essential in today's world. The motivational talk was attended by a large number of students and youth of Jhullas and adjoining areas with great zeal and enthusiasm. Participants were imparted awareness about the physical and educational requirements and the selection process for various types of entries into the services. Indian Army has also been conducting pre-recruitment training to enable the local boys to compete in recruitment drives.
