Army organises painting competition

Rajouri, Sep 23 A Drawing And Painting Competition was organised by the Indian Army at Kalal, Naushera in District Rajouri (J&K) . Painting competition is unique event design to encourage creative expression. The competition is an embodiment of all that is progressive to enhance personality development, induce healthy competitive spirit and sense of creativity among the school going children. Student from various school participated in the competition. The theme of the competition was ‘Creativity and Innovation’. Participating students were provided with required stationary and accessories for the competition. Student displayed zeal and enthusiasm which was mirrored in drawings. The children created vivid images, houses, people, places, scenery, mountains with their tiny hands mingling over the crayons lying all over the sheets. The young artists envisioned on the fabric, the India of yesterday, today and India which will emerge from amalgamation of tradition and heritage with modern scientific outlook. This conducive environment offered opportunities and well being of our students. The drawing and painting, helped in bringing out the inner talent of children and making them more expressive. Beautiful and imaginative drawings painted the environment colorful. At the conclusion of the event incentive prizes were instituted to provide tangible acknowledgment of their indescribable emotions through drawings and paintings. These incentives were design to attract, engage and retain talent. Indian Army efforts towards nurture of children are positive, constructive and creative practices. The entire spectrum of the village population applaud the gestures. The parents and staff desired to conduct such competition in future often.
