New Delhi, Sep 21 Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Ramiz Raja has lashed out at the "western bloc" for uniting in their stand against Pakistan and refusing to tour the country citing security concerns. A visibly furious Raja criticised New Zealand and England for pulling out of their scheduled tours in Pakistan after the NZ government issued a security threat against the Blackcaps squad when they were in Rawalpindi last week. New Zealand decided to pull out of their entire limited-overs series just minutes before the first ODI and left Pakistan immediately in a charter plane. England then took the call to withdraw from their upcoming men's and women's teams tours to Pakistan after looking at New Zealand's situation. “I am severely disappointed in England's withdrawal but it was expected because this western bloc gets united unfortunately and tries to back each other,” Ramiz Raja said in a video message. The former Pakistan captain, who was elected as the PCB chairman last week, was particularly upset with New Zealand for not sharing any details of the security threat that they received from their government just before they decided to pull the plug on the tour and return home. “There was a sense of anger because first New Zealand got away without sharing information about the threat they were facing. This (England) decision.
