"International Peace Day" celebrated in Joguwan

Sunderbani, Sep 21 Indian Army celebrated International Peace Day with villagers of Joguwan Village in Sunderbani Tehsil of Rajouri District (J&K). A Drawing and Painting Competition on the theme of International Peace Day also organised at Government Higher Secondary School, Joguwan. The event provided a platform to students to improve their creative and artistic abilities. The competition enabled students to self evaluate, motivate and develop new ideas broadening their outlook. A total of 30 students participated in said competition and winners were felicitated with prizes. During the event, an Officer from Indian Army addressed the gathering on Importance of International Peace Day and Peaceful co-existence. Villagers and students who were present during the event, highly appreciated Indian Army's efforts for organising such events for children.
