YB WEB DESK. Dated: 9/22/2021 7:56:42 AM
Reasi, Sep 21 Indian Army conducted a Medical Camp at Mathiyanigala in District Reasi (J&K). The aim of the medical camp was to alleviate the medical problems of the AWAAM populace and to build mutual trust and confidence between AWAAM and the Indian Army. The medical camp provided free basic health facilities to the villagers amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Villagers from far-flung areas are unable to approach hospitals for medical attention, therefore this camp provided them with an opportunity to access basic medicines and healthcare. A team of Indian Army doctors and Nursing Assistants as well as Civil doctors and paramedics participated in providing medical assistance to the villagers. A large number of AWAAM from village of Mathiyanigala availed the benefit of free medical treatment and the free distribution of medicines.
