INDIAN ARMY CONDUCTED WORKSHOP ON “FIRST AID”

Jammu, Sep 21 Indian Army conducted a workshop on “First Aid” at Manjakote, Rajouri (J&K). The aim of the lecture was to create awareness on ‘First Aid Training’ amongst students in remote areas where medical facilities are scarce. The lecture was delivered by Indian Army Medical Staff. A large number of student and teachers along with principal attended the event. The main focus of this lecture was on imparting knowledge on managing cases of snake bite, fractures, burn injuries and control of bleeding occurring due to minor accidents. Students were taught about first aid measures to be adopted in such circumstances and thereby save life or limb. The initiative was greatly appreciated by the Villagers and they expressed their gratitude for the knowledge imparted to them.
