BJP pays rich tributes to martyr Tika Lal Taplu on his death anniversary

Jammu, Sep 13 BJP Kashmir Displaced District (KDD) observed “Balidan Diwas” to pay rich tributes to martyr Tika Lal Taploo on his 31st Death Anniversary at BJP headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu. J&K BJP General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, former Dy. CMs Dr. Nirmal Singh and Kavinder Gupta, State Vice-Presidents S. Varinderjit Singh, Yudhvir Sethi, Secretary Arvind Gupta, Treasurer Prabhat Singh, former MLCs Ajay Bharti, Surinder Ambardar, District President Chand ji Bhat and other BJP leaders were present on the occasion. The programme started with the lighting of lamp and recitation of song by Mahila Morcha karayakartas. District General Secretary H.K. Razdan conducted the programme proceedings. Homage was also paid to all the people who lost their lives during the last 30 years of militancy in various parts in the state whether In Wandhama, Chattisinghpora, Doda, Kishtwar, Rajouri or other places. Homage was also paid to the security personnel who got martyrdom while fighting with the terrorists. Two minute silence was observed as a mark of respect. Ashok Kaul paying homage to Tika Lal Taploo, stated that Tika Lal ji was an upright politician and revered leader of BJP. He was State Vice-President of BJP and never compromise on his principles. He was a great orator and could keep his audience spell bound by his logic and the way of delivering his words. He was a great lawyer by profession, but never used his skill for commercial purposes. He was fully dedicated towards the delivering justice to one and all irrespective of their religion, this was his way of protecting the secular character till his last. Dr. Nirmal Singh paid rich tributes to the Late Tika Lal Taploo and termed him on of the tallest leader of Kashmir who was known to all communities and earned respect and love from all the sects of society. His sacrifice for the nation will always be remembered, he said. Kavinder Gupta said that Tika Lal ji was a fearless, transparent and honest politician. He was a nationalist with par excellence and firm believer that J&K is an integral part of India, he said and added that he dedicated himself for the upliftment of poor and downtrodden. Ajay Bharti, while speaking on the occasion, paid homage to the departed leader, and said that he was having good leadership qualities and commanded high respect in the all sects of society. Surinder Ambardar while speaking on the occasion paid rich tributes to Late Tika Lal Taploo and stated that he was a great KP leader and spoke of his dedication for selfless service towards the society.
