Kurnool, Sep 13 In a shocking incident, a father tried to kill his daughter with a sword for getting married against the family will. The incident took place on Sunday in Nandyal of Kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh. Fortunately, the girl escaped the attack without any life-threatening injuries. Reportedly, the accused father, Anjameyulu, could not accept his daughter’s marriage with her lover Manju. His daughter, Malleswari, got married 10 days ago following three years of courtship. On Sunday, Malleswari and her husband were called by her parents to their residence. The father got furious and attacked the daughter with a sword, targeting her neck. She, however, escaped with injuries on her shoulders and was shifted to Nandyal government hospital.
