Mumbai, July 21 Vandana Ravindra Tiwari alias Gehana Vasisth, a model and actress who was arrested in February this year by the Mumbai Police Crime Branch for involvement in a porn videos racket, has denied allegations against her. Businessman Raj Kundra was arrested on July 19 in connection with the sensational porn racket case. Vasisth, who is out on bail after spending five months in jail, said that she was framed in the case. When asked about allegations of acting in porn movies published on HotShots app, she said, “There was no pornography in those videos. I have worked with Umesh Kamat and Raj Kundra, but we don’t make obscene videos. Our videos don’t cross the limit.” She also denied connection with the accused arrested in the Madh bungalow raid. Vasisth denied connection with the accused arrested in the Madh bungalow raid in February. Police arrested five aides of Yasmeen Khan alias Rowa (42) who was the producer-director. Actors Mohammed Ateef Saifi, Bhanu Thakur, photographer Monu Joshi, and creative director Pratibha Nalawade were arrested following the raid. “I don’t know why I was booked in this case. I know (Raj) Kundra and his colleagues but don’t know (other) accused who were arrested from the bungalow,” she said. “Also, there is a case of gangrape against me in Malwani police station which is baseless. If women are being forced into some acts why would they continue to come on the sets and later promote these videos? I don’t think any woman was forced to these videos. I am myself in this industry for 11 years. Nothing like this has happened to me. I don’t know why I am being targeted,” Vasisth said. Speaking about the day she was arrested, Vasisth said she would have applied for anticipatory bail if she had prior knowledge. “On February 4, I was leaving for launch of a movie when police officials came to my residence. I gave them my mobile phones and laptop when they asked for them. Two women and one male policeman slept at my house.
