Interaction with youth and screening of motivational movie to children

Udhampur, July 20 Indian Army has always taken initiative in conducting various people friendly campaigns, community empowerment drives and communal harmony workshops. Main purpose to conduct these events is to foster feeling of brotherhood amongst villagers. In order to fulfill the aforesaid purpose an interaction with youth and screening of motivational movie to children was carried out at Shalimar of Kishtwar district in which the Indian Army interacted with youth of Shalimar. It was a warm and open exchange of thoughts and ideas wherein bond of friendship and togetherness got reinforced. The people present in the gathering were made to realize to rise above petty disputes and join hands and work together for the betterment of society and Nation. Such events also motivate the youth to look beyond the prism of fundamentalist thoughts and induce tolerance for other religions. In addition, valuable feedback on various initiatives by Army towards development of region through various projects was sought. Such events also reinforce commitment of Indian Army to stand with the youth.
