Army medical patrol assists Veer Naris, ESM

Rajouri, June 18 Indian Army as part of Mission Reach Out initiated to fight COVID- 19 pandemic and to assist Veer Naris and Veterans mobilised Medical Patrol in District Rajouri (J&K). The patrol interacted with the villagers including Sarpanches. The locals were informed about COVID -19 outbreak and the basic preventive measures, such as social distancing, health and hygiene issues, washing of hands, wearing of double masks, use of senitizers and avoidance of social gatherings. New symptoms seen in second wave of COVID surge were also explained to locals. As a part of awareness programme, the online procedure to register on www.cowin.gov.in was also explained to Veer Naris and ESM. COVID preventive kits consisting sanitizers, masks etc were distributed to the Veer Naris and ESM of Laroka and Lam Panchayats. The locals expressed their gratitude towards the Army for organizing such events.
