ARMY PROVIDES HELPING HAND TO VILLAGERS

Jammu, June 18 Indian Army has been undertaking numerous initiatives to facilitate local populace in fight against COVID- 19. Rising Star Bayonets undertook the noble task of distributing Gloves, Masks, Protective Equipment towards prevention of COVID-19 to locals, government officials and Veer Naris in village Mechhedi in District Kathua (J&K). The endeavour aimed at providing the much needed protective items to locals of these remote areas. The initiative holds significance in Nation’s efforts to break the COVID chain and save medical criticalities. During the interaction, the locals and government officials expressed their gratitude to Army for such a noble effort, while Army assured them of continuous support in all eventualities.
