Vaccination drive for civilians ahead of fence

Jammu, June 18 Indian Army led a civil medical team into forward areas ahead of AIOS to facilitate in vaccination drive in village Kirni in District Poonch (J&K). The vaccination drive successfully carried out in collaboration with J&K civil health department authorities. Civil medical team from Poonch rural health department visited the Kirni village to ensure the vaccination of civilians in these remote unaccessible areas. 20 beneficiaries aged between 18 to 45 yrs record their first dose. Women and elderly who could not visit Poonch town were vaccinated at their door step by the team. The medical team was safely inducted to forward dhoks, as close as 300 m from LoC.
