ARMY ESTABLISHES DEDICATED COVID CARE CENTERS

Srinagar, May 9 In continuation with reinforcing its commitment to safety and health care of the Kashmiri Awaam, Kashmir UT Administration and Chinar Corps of Indian Army jointly established two Dedicated COVID Care Centers with 20 bedded facilities, which include 5 beds for critical care and 15 beds for mild to moderate COVID patients at Baramulla and Uri. These facilities will run in collaboration with Civil Administration of Baramulla District and is primarily aimed at providing oxygen support & noninvasive ventilator support for mild to moderate COVID patients. Army is also organising Khairiyat Patrols, where local Army establishments are sending patrols along with nursing assistants to the villages & distributing medicines, mask, sanitizers, PPE kits & other items, which are essential to fight the COVID pandemic. Indian Army has also launched several health awareness programmes in the district of Baramulla to impart knowledge on issues & preventive measures for COVID.
