9TH INDIA-COLUMBIA FOREIGN OFFICE CONSULTATIONS

New Delhi, May 9 India and Colombia held the ninth round of Foreign Office Consultations via video conference on 07 May 2021. The Indian side was led by Riva Ganguly Das, Secretary (East). The Colombian side was led by Francisco Javier Echeverri, Vice Minister, Foreign Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Colombia. "Taking place after four years, the consultations were held in an atmosphere reflecting the cordial nature of the bilateral relations and provided an opportunity to comprehensively review the whole gamut of bilateral cooperation, including political, trade and economic cooperation, agriculture, space, energy, health and pharmaceuticals, tourism, information technology, education, development partnership, sports and culture. Both sides underscored the need to intensify dialogue in these areas through the established bilateral dialogue mechanisms," stated a press release by the Ministry of External Affairs.
