Jos Buttler gifts Yashasvi Jaiswal a bat with special message on it, Rajasthan Royals share pictures

New Delhi, May 5 Rajasthan Royals' English opener Jos Buttler gifted one of his bats to his teammate Yashasvi Jaiswal after IPL 2021 was postponed on Tuesday due to rising number of Covid-19 cases among players and support staff. The 19-year-old was benched for the starting 4 matches of the Royals as Ben Stokes and Manan Vohra opened first, and then Buttler joined forces with Stokes after the injury of Ben Stokes. Vohra's continued failure at the top paved way for Jaiswal's comeback in playing of XI of the team. The experienced wicketkeeper- batsman and the Mumbaikar opened in the last 3 league matches for the 2008 champions. Rajasthan Royals shared pictures of the duo and also the bat gifted by Buttler. "To Yash, enjoy your talent. Best Wishes," read Buttler's message to Jaiswal. Rajasthan Royals won 3 out of their 7 league matches before the IPL 2021 was postponed on Tuesday. They were occupying the 5th spot in the 8-team points table. The 14th edition, which saw 29 league matches being played till Sunday, was suspended after two more players.
