Captivating initiative by PM to ensure improvement in worsening Covid crisis

Y B News Jammu, Apr 21 Girdhari Lal Raina JK-UT spokesperson of BJP welcomed and appreciated Prime Minister Narendra Modiji’s address in which the PM urged people to follow Covid-appropriate behaviour. Prime Minister minced no words in underlining the fact that the second wave of Covid-19 has come like a storm and India is currently fighting a very tough battle, said the former MLC. GL Raina also welcomed the decision of the government of India (GoI) to open vaccination for all adults from May 1, 2021. GoI under able leadership of PM Narendra Modiji has taken lead in plugging loopholes left open by certain states due to which India is witnessing exponential spike in its Covid-19 cases and also deaths due to virus, said GL Raina. He also welcomed the initiative to involve state governments and the private sector in ensuring un-interrupted supply of oxygen by enhancing oxygen production and its supply; increasing bed capacity in hospitals and emergency medicines required to save lives. All these measures taken by the GOI in the past few days will surely help prove the situation swiftly, he added. But bringing situation under control, GL Raina said, will not be possible without active participation of the people. He appealed everyone to take extra care and strictly follow Covid appropriate behaviour. To avoid another longer lockdown like conditions it is necessary to follow guidelines issued by authorities from time to time. GL Raina also advocated aggressive testing at least near hot spots to reduce the burden of already strained health care system.
