Reasi Police arrested fourth absconder in a week

Reasi, Apr 21 Reasi Police arrested accused Alam Din S/O Imam Din R/O Miran Sahib Jammu, an absconder for kidnapping and repeatedly raping a woman, after long 7 years of chase. Accused Alam Din was absconding in Case FIR no. 27/2014 Dated 09/03/2014 U/S 366/376/343/147/109 RPC Police Station Reasi, after Commission of crime. Accused evading investigation by going underground & couldn’t be apprehended. A warrant under section 512 CrPC was issued by Hon'ble court of CJM Reasi against the accused. Accused was evading his arrest for the last 7 years by going underground & changing his location both inside and outside J&K. Reasi Police meticulously planned, tracked & developed a specific input, which led to his arrest. Police team is on hunt to arrest other accused persons in the case FIR too, whereas one accused Mohd Bashir S/O Karam Din R/o Panjgrain Jammu was arrested & bailed out by the Court of Law. Another Janak Raj S/O Nand Lal R/O Rangpur-Ranbir Singh Pura (RS Pura) is arrested & behind the bars. This is arrest of fourth absconder in a week against whom warrant U/S 512 CrPC was pending.
