Shops to open on alternate days, public transport to ply at 50% capacity

Y B News Ramban, Apr 20 Following the orders issued by the State Executive Committee, Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction, District Magistrate, Ramban, Mussarat Islam, today issued orders for imposition of night curfew (10.00 pm to 6.00 am). He also issued separate orders for putting 50% restrictions on opening of shops at marketplaces, bazaars and malls across Ramban District as well as operation of public transport at 50% of the authorized seating capacity. In order to ensure that the directions are implemented in letter and spirit, the District Magistrate also held detailed deliberation with senior members of the Beopar Mandal, Ramban. He urged the trading communities across Ramban District to cooperate with the administration so that the directions issued by the Government are implemented to break the chain of the Covid-19 wave which is spreading its tentacles far and wide. The Directions were also issued to make public announcements so that the people and the business community are made aware about the Government’s decisions on reducing the gathering of people at marketplaces which can spread the infection. The transport bodies have also been advised to strictly adhere to the Government orders of operating at 50% of its authorized seating capacity.
