Development, public welfare utmost priority: Randhawa

Jammu, Apr 18 All round development of underdeveloped hamlets and public welfare is the utmost priority of the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It was said by former Member Legislative Council (MLC), Ch. Vikram Randhawa, during his visit to Shiv Nagar, Jogi Mohalla in Gandhi Nagar assembly segment under public outreach programme. While interacting with the locals of the area Randhawa said that under BJP rule Jammu has witnessed massive development as due focus has been given to underdeveloped hamlets particularly in Jammu region. He said that various public welfare schemes have been launched by the BJP government keeping in view the needs of the downtrodden section of the society. Randhawa said that Gandhi Nagar assembly segment will be developed as model assembly segment and many mega projects are in pipeline. He said that many developmental projects have been completed and works on many other is in full swing. Randhawa further said that the slogan ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas’ is being implemented in letter and spirit. “Development is the sole agenda which can win the trust of the people and we are committed for it”, Randhawa added. He said that we have built a strong road network in Jammu city and all roads in Gandhi Nagar have been black topped. He said that the remaining roads would be covered soon. He urged upon the people to avail the benefit of the people friendly welfare schemes being launched by the Modi Government. He directed the workers of the BJP to make people aware regarding the people- friendly welfare schemes. Besides PWD officials, Panch Sawarn Singh Pappy, Madan Lal, Prem kumar, Rattan Lal, Jagdev Singh, Karan Singh, Sawarn Kumar, Jyoti Singh, Vicky, Pinto and others were present on the occasion.
