Vegetable Balls in Tomato Sauce
Ingredients
For The Vegetable Balls
1 cup boiled and finely
chopped mixed
vegetables (french beans
and carrot)
1 cup boiled and mashed
potatoes
2 tbsp plain flour (maida)
2 tbsp cornflour
1 tbsp finely chopped
green chillies
1/2 tsp garam masala
2 tsp lemon juice
2 tbsp finely chopped
coriander (dhania)
salt to taste
oil for deep-frying
For The Tomato Sauce
1 1/2 cups fresh tomato
pulp
1/4 cup tomato ketchup
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tbsp sugar
salt to taste
For The Garnish
2 tbsp grated processed
cheese Method For the
vegetable balls 1. Combine
all the ingredients in a
deep bowl and mix well. 2.
Divide the mixture into 16
equal portions and roll
each portion into a round.
3. Heat the oil in a deep
non-stick kadhai and
deep-fry a few vegetable
balls at a time, on a medium
flame.
