Army conducts mobile repair course

Poonch, Apr 18 For imparting skills and creating job opportunity for unemployed youths, Indian Army conducted a NSDC accredited three month course on “Mobile Repair” at Surankote in District Poonch (J&K) from 13 January 2021 to 17 April 2021 which concluded with the closing ceremony. The course imparted skills related to Mobile Repair to unemployed youths belonging to remote areas of Surankote Tehsil and nearby villages. All the youths have shown keen interest to learn and displayed great capability for self employment ahead. The Army aligned to the initiatives of State and Central Government has focus on conducting accredited courses with proper certification which shall help unemployed youth to optimally utilise the opportunities offered. This initiative will not only generate employment but also give them opportunity to support their families and enhance their technical skill to pave the way towards selfemployment. These skilled youth will also contribute towards ‘Digital India’ initiative of the Govt for overall development of the country. A total of 20 youths were awarded with NSDC certificate on completion of course. Youths and local villagers of Surankote appreciated the efforts of Indian Army for conducting skill development courses and making them skillful.
