The Indian education system and its surrounding framework haven’t been the best option available to opt for, though it provides basic education at a generously affordable rate or even negligible compared to the price for education in western nations. Yet there’s a striking similarity between both the Indian and western pattern of formal recognised education. As both lag far behind time, lagging all the necessities and skillset required, offered within the curriculum, potentially in order to sustain in the ultra-competitive present day modern world. It is all up to the individual to learn and acquire these skills or even recognizing the significance of such skillset in everyday life. Those realizing it shall redeem more success than those who don’t, with personal finance and moral education are two of the many aspects that are not a part of the formal education framework in most countries throughout the globe. It has been a key point to throw light on some hard facts we tend to miss out on; We produce more and more doctors, engineers, lawyers, and technicians with millions of undergraduate and postgraduate students passing out of college each year. Despite a steadily growing rate of literacy in our country and throughout the globe, we has been unable to overcome the everlasting problem of poverty and the ever-rising rate of crime related activities, across even the developed lot of nations esteemed as benchmarks for other countries throughout the world. As the general population, we question the administration, the government, and other corporate entities over several social and ethical concerns, yet we never tend to introspect upon ourselves as the society which is sadly enough the very breeding ground for all the negative aspects borne by it later. Whilst the current framework of education is some inefficient and in need of some due changes, the incorporation of basic yet essential aspects like moral education to ensure a well read and morally ethical population in the times to come whilst minor addition of subject like personal finance can assist them with their financial decision thus affecting the economic growth in a positive pattern simultaneously.
