Army organises lecture on “1971 Indo-Pak war”

Udhampur, Apr 18 Indian Army organised a lecture on “1971 Indo-Pak War” in remote area of Lower Gund with the aim of spreading awareness about the decisive victory of India over Pakistan in 1971 and also highlighting the importance of “Vijay Diwas’’ in remembrance of India’s entry into the liberation war being fought towards East Pak. The lecture was attended by Approx 31 Locals, young students and were curious to know about the way Indian Army liberated Bangladesh. To commemorate the victory over Pak in 1971, 16 Dec is celebrated as “Vijay Diwas” in India.
