Manjrekar slams SRH team selection: Sorry to say, they did not deserve to win

New Delhi, Apr 18 Former India cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar has slammed Sunrisers Hyderabad for their team selection in Saturday's match against defending champions Mumbai Indians in Chennai. The cricketer-turned-commentator said that SRH deserved to lose as they had three very young uncapped players in Abhishek Sharma, Virat Singh and Abdul Samad playing together in one XI. "Sorry to say, but anyone that picks Abhishek Sharma, Virat Singh and Abdul Samad all together in one playing XI does not deserve to win," Manjrekar tweeted. After restricting Mumbai to 150, Hyderabad openers David Warner and Jonny Bairstow gave their team a flying start but the batting order collapsed soon after their departure. Manish Pandey (2), Virat Singh (11), Abhishek Sharma (2) and Abdul Samad (7) departed without any major contribution.
